Yokogawa Electric Corp is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of control equipment. The Company operates in three segments. The Control segment provides comprehensive solutions ranging from on-site sensors such as flow meters, differential pressure/pressure transmitters, and process analyzers to production control systems, programmable controllers, industrial recorders, and various software to improve productivity and services to minimize plant life cycle costs. The Measuring Instruments segment provides waveform measuring instruments, optical communication-related measuring instruments, signal generators, and power, temperature, and pressure measuring instruments. The New Business and Others segment provides services utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI), manufacture and sales of biomass materials, and research, development, and contract manufacturing of bulk pharmaceuticals and other products.
