Yamaha Corp is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the musical instruments business, the audio equipment business and other businesses. The Company operates through two business segments. The Musical Instruments Business segment manufactures and sells musical instruments, operates music schools and other facilities, and produces and sells music and video software. The Audio Equipment Business segment provides various solutions for both consumer and commercial use. It consists of a wide range of products from home audio equipment, music production and distribution equipment, professional audio equipment, and network equipment. The Company also engages in components and equipment business, consisting of electronic devices, automotive interior components, and factory automation (FA) equipment, as well as the golf goods business and resort business.
