Wildcat Petroleum Plc is a United Kingdom-based company, which is seeking to acquire projects or a business operating in the upstream sector of the petroleum industry - namely exploration, appraisal, development and production of oil and gas. The Company is primarily focused on assets that are at the later phases of exploration and production. It is evaluating oil and gas exploration, appraisal and production opportunities around the world. The Company plans to implement blockchain technology within the oil and gas business. The Company's Sierra Leone Reconnaissance Project is situated on the West African Continental Margin and neighboring Guinea and Liberia is, with only 8 wells drilled, a frontier exploration area for hydrocarbons. The eight wells have been drilled on the shallow shelf and upper slope. Two have encountered oil shows and four have been non-commercial oil discoveries. The Company's reconnaissance license (Desk Study) covers approximately 24,000 square kilometers.
