Profile Summary
Wi-Tron, Inc. (Wi-Tron) designs, manufactures, and sells ultra-linear power amplifiers and related subsystems to the wireless telecommunications market around the world. The Company's single and multi-carrier linear power amplifiers (MCLPA), which are key component in cellular base stations, increase the power of radio frequency and microwave signals with low distortion. Wi-Tron's products are marketed to the cellular, wireless local loop and personal communication service (PCS) segments of the wireless telecommunications industry. The protocols covered are code division multiple access (CDMA), time division multiple access (TDMA), global system for mobile communication (GSM), 1Xevolution-Data Optimized (1XEVDO) and Wideband CDMA (WCDMA). It designs and sells multi-carrier transmit amplifiers and low noise receive amplifiers for the cellular communications market, as well as the PCS, wireless local loop, and special mobile radio (SMR) segments of the wireless communications industry.
