Virgin Orbit Holdings, Inc. is a vertically integrated space company engaged in operating responsive space launch systems. It has developed an air-launch system that comprises the LauncherOne rocket. LauncherOne is a two-stage rocket used to launch satellites into orbit. Its portfolio includes Commercial and Civil, National Security and Defense and Space Solutions. Commercial & Civil provides rideshare launch services for commercial and civil customers, both from the United States and internationally. National Security and Defense provides national security launch and mission services to the United States and its allied government customers, including the Space Force, Air Force and other agencies within the United States Department of Defense and the intelligence community. Space Solutions provides end-to-end services for Internet of Things and Earth Observation applications through a combination of agreements with satellite operators and a satellite constellation it owns and operates.
