Profile Summary
Variscan Mines Limited is an Australia-based natural resources company. The Company is focused on the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral projects. It has compiled a portfolio of high-impact base-metal interests in Spain, Chile, and Australia. Its geographical segments include Australia and Spain. The Company’s projects include Novales-Udias, Guajaraz and Rosario. The Novales-Udias Project is located in the Basque-Cantabrian Basin, approximately 30 kilometers (km) from the regional capital, Santander, which hosts five mineralized districts, of which the Santander district hosts the Reocin Mine and the Novales-Udias Project. The Guajaraz project is located in the highly mineralized Central Zone of the Iberian Massif. The Rosario project is located approximately 120 km east of the port city of Chanaral in the Atacama Region of northern Chile. It has various exploration joint venture agreements to explore copper, gold, zinc, lead, and uranium in Australia.
