Profile Summary
Unico Silver Limited (USL) is a silver development company. The Company is engaged in the exploration and evaluation of mineral deposits. The Company operates in two segments: Australia projects and Argentina projects. It is focused on making new discoveries in the Santa Cruz gold and silver province, southern Argentina. It holds interest in a portfolio of exploration properties in the mining-friendly Santa Cruz province of Argentina, which is host to numerous multi-million-ounce precious metal epithermal vein deposits, such as Cerro Negro and Cerro Vanguardia. Its flagship Cerro Leon project is located within the mining friendly Santa Cruz province of Argentina, about 130 kilometers (km) northwest of the port town San Julian. Cerro Leon is made of two adjacent epithermal vein fields: the green fields Conserrat project (80% USL) and advanced Pinguino project, located 15 km apart. Its Pinguino Silver Gold Project is made up of four contiguous mining titles totaling 9,966 hectares.
