Profile Summary
Tourmaline Oil Corp. is a Canadian senior crude oil and natural gas exploration and production company focused on long-term growth through an aggressive exploration, development, production and acquisition program in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. The Company's operations include Alberta Deep Basin, NEBC Montney Gas/Condensate and Peace River Triassic Oil. Its target exploration and production area is in that portion of the Alberta Deep Basin where the entire lower Cretaceous stratigraphic section is gas saturated with no mobile formation water. The Company's Montney EP program has been focused in the Groundbirch/Sunrise/Dawson area of the Peace River Arch, as well as the Gundy CK area. Its third core area is the Company’s exploration and production complex at Spirit River-Mulligan-Earring, Alberta. Its production in the complex is derived from oil and natural gas-charged reservoirs of the Triassic Charlie Lake and Montney formations as well as the Wapiti Cardium formation.
