Spectris plc (SXS: LSE) ("Spectris" or the "Company"), the expert in providing
insight through precision measurement, today announces changes to its Board of
Directors and Executive Committee.

Derek Harding to be appointed as President, Spectris Scientific and Angela
Noon to join as Chief Financial Officer

Derek Harding to be appointed President, Spectris Scientific

Following the completion of our portfolio rationalisation, Derek Harding, will
be taking up a new role as President of our enlarged Spectris Scientific
Division, which encompasses our Malvern Panalytical, PMS and Servomex
businesses. Derek has served as an Executive Director and Chief Financial
Officer of Spectris since March 2019 and will continue in his role as Chief
Financial Officer until 1 September 2024 when he will start his new position.
Derek will remain on the Board as an Executive Director of the Company in his
new role and will continue to report to Andrew Heath, Chief Executive.

Mark Fleiner, the current President of Spectris Scientific, will leave the
Group later in 2024 following five years with the Group during which he has
overseen a compound annual growth rate of 6.5%.

Angela Noon to join Spectris as Chief Financial Officer

Angela Noon will join the Company as an Executive Director and Chief Financial
Officer on 1 September 2024. Angela is currently CFO at Royal Mail and was
previously CFO for Siemens UK & Ireland. Angela, a chartered management
accountant, will bring more than 25 years of finance and commercial experience
to the role, as well as considerable and highly relevant industrial end-market
experience. She is also currently a member of the Supervisory Board of Just
Eat Takeaway N.V. and Chair of their Audit Committee. Prior to joining the
Royal Mail, Angela spent over 20 years in various international leadership
roles at Siemens AG in digitalisation, industrial software and
business development.

Commenting on the appointments, Andrew Heath, Chief Executive of Spectris

industrial and technology sectors."
