Profile Summary
The South Indian Bank Limited (the Bank) is a commercial bank primarily focused on providing services in retail banking, corporate banking, and treasury operations. The Bank operates in four segments: Treasury segment, which consists of interest earnings in the investment portfolio of the bank, gains or losses on investment operations and earnings from foreign exchange business; Corporate/ Wholesale Banking segment, which provides loans to corporate segments; Retail Banking, which provides loans to non-corporate customers; Other Banking Operations includes income from para banking activities such as debit cards, third party product distribution and associated costs. It also offers digital banking services, including SIBerNET (Internet banking) and the SIB Mirror+ application (mobile banking). It provides a variety of deposit schemes and financial solutions such as insurance, mutual funds, demat & trading services, pension plans, and loans against securities.
