Profile Summary
Sheffield Resources Ltd is an Australia- based company, which is engaged in mineral sands evaluation and development in Australia and mineral sands evaluation in Brazil. The Company’s operating segments include South Atlantic project, Thunderbird project, and Other. The South Atlantic project consists of mineral sands tenements located in Southeast Brazil. The Thunderbird project consists of mineral sands tenements located in the Canning Basin that form part of the Thunderbird mineral sand mining operation held by Thunderbird Operations Pty Ltd, subsidiary of Kimberley Mineral Sands Pty Ltd (KMS). The South Atlantic Project is located within the Rio Grande do Sul Coastal Plain, a region located in the southernmost state of Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul, along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. The Thunderbird Mineral Sand Project lies 70 kilometers (km) west of Derby and 30 km north of the sealed Great Northern Highway (GNH) joining Derby and Broome.
