Seplat Energy Plc is a Nigeria-based independent energy company. The Company is principally engaged in oil and gas exploration and production and gas processing activities. The Company's segments include Oil and Gas. The Oil segment deals with the exploration, development and production of crude oil. The Gas segment deals with the production and processing of gas. It has equity in approximately 11 blocks in onshore and shallow water Nigeria, 48 producing oil and gas fields, five gas processing facilities, and three export terminals. Its portfolio consists of interests in seven oil and gas assets in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. This includes a working interest in OMLs 4, 38 and 41, OPL 283, OML 53 and OML 40 (Seplat has an operating interest in four of the working interests) and a financial interest in OML 55. Its portfolio also includes OML 67, 68, 70 and 104; Qua Iboe export terminal and the Yoho FSO; Bonny River Terminal NGL recovery plant, and Aneman-Kpono field.
