Rompetrol Well Services SA is a Romania-based company primarily engaged in the provision of support services for oil and gas exploration industry. The Company’s services include cementing, consolidation and casing operations, stimulations, testing, instrumentations and well tubing operations, among others. The Company cements an average of 500 drilling pipes annually, at depths between 500 meters and 4,500 meters. Additionally, the Company is active in the rental of drilling tools. Rompetrol Well Services SA operates nationally and internationally, including Kazakhstan, Bulgaria and Hungary, among others. It provides technical support for 17 locations in Romania, Kazakhstan, Iraq and Jordan. As of December 31, 2011, The Rompetrol Group NV held a 71.74% stake in Rompetrol Well Services SA.
