Profile Summary
Renergen Limited is a South Africa-based onshore natural gas explorer and integrated producer of both liquefied helium (LHe) and liquefied natural gas (LNG), both of which are produced from the natural gas found in its Virginia Gas Project. The Virginia Gas Project comprises production rights of approximately 187,000 hectares of gas fields across Welkom, Virginia and Theunissen, in the Free State. Its segments include Tetra4, Cryovation, Renergen US and Corporate head office. Tetra4 segment explores, produces and sells LNG and is focused on producing and selling LHe. It operates in the Gauteng Province, Free State Province and Mpumalanga Province in the town of Evander. Cryovation segment develops the Cryo-Vacc technology, which enables the safe transportation of vaccines and biologics at extremely low temperatures without the need for electrical power. Renergen US segment assists with various fund raising and business development activities of the group in the United States market.
