Profile Summary
Orion Minerals Ltd is an Australia-based diversified metal exploration and development company. The Company is engaged in exploration, evaluation and development of base metal, gold, and platinum-group element projects in South Africa (Areachap Belt and Okiep Copper Complex, Northern Cape). Its projects include Prieska Copper-Zinc Mine Project, Okiep Copper Project, Fraser Range Project, Jacomynspan (JMP) Battery Metals Project, Walhalla Project, Stratega Metals Vapour Refining Project, and Areachap Exploration. The Prieska Project is located in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa, approximately 270 kilometers south-west of the regional capital Kimberley. The Okiep Copper Project (OCP) is located in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa, approximately 570 km north of Cape Town and 450 km west of the Company’s flagship Prieska Copper Zinc Project. The JMP Project is located 65 km north of Orion’s flagship Prieska Copper Zinc Mine in South Africa’s Northern Cape.
