Northern Bear (LSE:NTBR), the AIM quoted group headquartered in Northern
England providing specialist building and support services to customers across
the UK, announces that it was today notified that John Davies, Chief Executive
Officer of the Company, purchased a total of 24,594 ordinary shares of 1p each
in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of 61.0p per Ordinary
Share on.

Following these purchases, John Davies holds 24,594 Ordinary Shares in the
Company, representing approximately 0.18 per cent. of the Company's currently
issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).
