Norbit ASA is a Norway-based supplier of tailored technology solutions. The company is structured in three business segments to address its key markets. Oceans segment delivers technology solutions to global maritime markets. It is primarily engaged in sonar solutions based on integrated and compact sonars with light detection and ranging (LIDAR) and a global positioning system (GPS) for surface and subsea imaging and mapping. The Connectivity segment enables clients to digitise their operations further through data collection and tailored sensor analysis with connectivity devices, cloud computing and data fusion being directly integrated into the client’s business software or as stand-alone services. Connectivity consists of the Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) and Smart Data sub-segments. The Product Innovation & Realization (PIR) segment offers Research and Development (R&D) products and services, alongside contract manufacturing services to customers.
