Profile Summary
New Era Helium, Inc. is an exploration and production company that sources helium produced in association with the production of natural gas reserves in North America. The Company’s primary operations include the exploration, development and production of helium, natural gas, oil and natural gas liquids. The Company owns and operates over 137,000 acres in Southeast New Mexico and has over 1.5 billion cubic feet of proved and probable helium reserves. Its producing oil and gas assets and non-producing acreage are primarily located in Chaves County, New Mexico. It also owns overriding royalty interests located in Howard County, Texas. The Company is constructing a 20,000 MCF/D natural gas and helium processing plant processing gas produced from the Pecos Slope Field, located approximately 20 miles north of Roswell, New Mexico. The Pecos Slope Field is the only field in the Permian Basin that has commercial helium concentration levels. It covers an area of 1893 square kilometers.
