MTR Corporation Limited is principally engaged in railway operation. The Company has six segments. Hong Kong Transport Operations is engaged in the provision of passenger operation and related services for railway systems, airport expresses, as well as light rails and buses in Hong Kong. Hong Kong Station Commercial Businesses is engaged in the letting of advertising, retail and car parking spaces, the provision of telecommunication and bandwidth services and other commercial activities in Hong Kong. Hong Kong Property Rental and Management is engaged in the letting of retail, office and car parking spaces, as well as the provision of estate management services in Hong Kong. Hong Kong Property Development is engaged in property development near the railway systems. Railway, Property Rental and Management Businesses is engaged in the construction, operation and maintenance of mass transit railway systems. Mainland of China Property Development is engaged in property development.
