Profile Summary
Metro Holdings Limited is a Singapore-based property investment and development company. The principal activities of the Company are those of a management, property investment and holding company. The Company operates through two segments: property and retail. The property segment is involved in the leasing of shopping and office spaces owned by the Company and investing in property-related investments. The retail segment is involved in the business of retailing and operating departmental stores. The Company has interests in approximately 648,000 square meters of retail and office investment properties in gateway cities in China, such as Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu, as well as Singapore, London and Australia; six PBSA properties in the United Kingdom, with 902 beds; and over 249,000 square meters of residential and mixed-use development properties predominantly held for sale. It also owns Top Spring International Holdings Limited, a China property developer.
