Profile Summary
McLaren Resources Inc. is a Canada-based mineral exploration and development company. The Company is engaged in gold exploration in the Timmins Gold region. The Company owns a 100% interest in the Blue QuartzGold Mine property as well as the McCool and Kerrs gold properties, all located within the Abitibi Greenstone Belt along the Destor-Porcupine Deformation Zone, which is host to many of the gold deposits in the area, approximately 85 kilometers (km) east of Timmins city center. The 640 hectares (ha) Blue Quartz Property consists of over 25 patented mining claims having an area of 400 ha and eight adjacent mining claims having an area of 240 ha. The McCool Property is an approximately 1770 ha mining lease (4077 acres), located in the southern portion of McCool Township, east of Timmins. It also owns a 100% interest in the Augdome gold property, which covers approximately 408 ha and is located in Tisdale and Whitney Townships immediately east of the Dome Mine owned by Newmont.
