COMPANY BOARD CHANGES

 

 

Mandarin Oriental International Limited (the 'Company') is pleased to announce
the following changes to the Board:

 

Fabrice Megarbane will join the Board of the Company as an Independent
Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 August 2024.

 

John Witt, Group Managing Director of Jardine Matheson, will step down as a
Director from the Company's Board and as a member of the Remuneration and
Nominations Committees.  Adam Keswick will step down from the Nominations
Committee and Graham Baker will step down from the Remuneration Committee.
Adam remains as a Director. These changes will all take effect from 22 July
2024.

 

The Company is also announcing that Sean Ward will be appointed as Company
Secretary, with effect from 22 July 2024, succeeding Jonathan Lloyd.

 

Fabrice Megarbane is the Chief Global Growth Officer of L'Oréal. He was
previously President and CEO of L'Oréal North Asia and CEO of L'Oréal China
and serves on its global executive committee. He managed a combined revenue of
more than EUR10 billion, which accounts for over 25 percent of L'Oréal's
global business, and an organisation of 20,000 people. Fabrice started his
marketing career at L'Oréal S.A. in 2000. He brings multi-market experience,
combining emerging and developed markets, including Europe, the Middle East,
Africa, Germany, China and now North Asia.

 

Commenting on these changes, Chair Ben Keswick said: "I am pleased to welcome
Fabrice to our Board, which will benefit from his extensive experience at
L'Oréal. He is an accomplished and passionate marketer and brand builder with
a deep consumer focus and extensive experience in digital transformation.

 

We will continue to enhance the composition of our Board, bringing in relevant
expertise to help our management team deliver on their strategy and build
long-term shareholder value.
