Kyocera Corp is mainly engaged in the provision of products in the semiconductor, information and telecommunications, industrial machinery, automotive, and environment and energy-related markets. It operates through three segments. The Core Components segment provides various fine ceramic components such as components for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, automotive camera modules, and ceramic/organic packages that protect electronic components and integrated circuits. The Electronic Components segment provides various electronic components and devices such as capacitors, crystal components, connectors, and power semiconductors. The Solutions segment provides cutting tools, pneumatic and electric tools, office printers and Multifunction Peripherals, document management systems, commercial and industrial printers, and telecommunication terminals and telecommunication solution services for corporate customers. The Company also offers smart energy-related products and services.
