Profile Summary
JPMorgan Mid Cap Investment Trust plc (the Trust) is a United Kingdom-based investment trust. The Trust's investment objective is to achieve capital growth from investing in medium sized United Kingdom listed companies, by outperformance of the Financial Times and the London Stock Exchange (FTSE) Mid 250 Index. The Trust predominantly invests in quoted companies from the FTSE Mid 250 Index, although, where appropriate, it may invest in quoted United Kingdom companies outside of this index as well as companies quoted on the Alternative Investment Market. The Trust has the ability to use borrowing to gear the portfolio within the range of 5% net cash to 25% geared in normal market conditions. It invests across various sectors, such as industrials, consumer discretionary, financials, consumer staples, technology, energy, real estate, health care, telecommunications, basic materials, and utilities. JPMorgan Funds Limited is the investment manager of the Trust.
