Profile Summary
Jersey Oil and Gas plc is a Jersey-based upstream oil and gas company. The Company’s activities are focused on the region of the North Sea of the United Kingdom. The Company’s operations include Greater Buchan Area, Buchan Redevelopment, J2 & Verbier, and Exploration. The Greater Buchan Area’s the Buchan field is to be produced through over five gas-lifted production wells, supported by two water injection wells. The Buchan Redevelopment consists of the P.2498 Buchan licence. The Buchan oil field lies in approximately 110 meters of water and is located in United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS) blocks 20/05a and 21/01a, 150km northeast of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom North Sea. The J2 oil discovery is located in the P.2498 Buchan licence area (Block 20/05a and 21/01a). The Verbier oil discovery is located in Blocks 20/5b and 21/1d in licence P.2170. Its Exploration operations include Cortina, Wengen, and Verbier Deep exploration prospects.
