ITEX dollars are only usable by member businesses (its members) to acquire products and services without exchanging cash. The Company service its member businesses through its franchise network in the United States and Canada. It administers the marketplace and provide record-keeping and payment transaction processing services for its members. It generates revenue by charging percentage-based transaction fees, association fees, and other fees assessed in United States dollars and Canadian dollars. Its system provides customer relationship management tools; analytical reports; a categorized listing of members, and a mobile application to register new prospects, complete a transaction, search for other members, and make payments. Its brokers provide marketplace members with information on products and services that are available locally, nationally and in Canada.
