Inveritech Solutions, Inc., formerly TriStar Wellness Solutions, Inc., operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, HemCon Medical Technologies Inc. (HemCon). HemCon is a life sciences company that develops, manufactures and markets wound care and infection control medical devices which targets the emergency medical, surgical, dental, military and over-the-counter (OTC) markets in the United States and globally. HemCon's wound care and infection control products stop hemorrhaging in surgery, trauma, battlefield injuries, surgical and OTC wounds. HemCon offers nine product lines under product categories, such as tissue adhesives, sealants and glues area of wound closure, in the professional and direct-to-consumer (DTC) markets. The wound care products are based on chitosan and oxidized cellulose technology platforms. Chitosan is a polysaccharide derived from the exoskeletons of shellfish. HemCon Europe's oxidized cellulose is derived from non-genetically modified cotton linters.
