Profile Summary
Hindalco Industries Limited is an India-based metals flagship company. The Company is primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing and distribution of aluminium, copper, and its products across the globe. It operates through four segments: Novelis, Aluminium Upstream, Aluminium Downstream and Copper. The Novelis Segment is engaged in producing and selling aluminium sheet and light gauge products and operating in four continents: North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. It is engaged in the aluminium upstream business, such as bauxite and coal mining, alumina specials, refineries, metal, and power. Its aluminium downstream business includes aluminium value-added products, such as flat rolled products, extrusion, and foils. The Copper Segment includes copper cathode, copper rods, precious metals, and di-ammonium phosphate. Its brands include Eternia, Maxloader, Hindalco Extrusions, Hindalco Everlast, Freshwrapp, Superwrap, Birla Copper, Birla Copper-II, and Birla Balwan.
