Hagar hf is an Iceland-based company primarily engaged in the retail trade. Through its stores, the Company offers food products, clothing, beauty products, home furnishings and leisure products. The Company is involved in the grocery retail sector through store chains, including Hagkaup and Bonus. Additionally, it is engaged in the sale of specialty products, through Hagkaup supermarkets, and in the operation of specialty stores, which provide apparel items, lingerie, home products, cosmetics sports and outdoor recreation equipment. It is also active in the wholesale of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as in the meat processing. The Company operates a number of wholly owned subsidiaries, including Hagar verslanir ehf, Bananar ehf, DBH a Islandi ehf, Ferskar kjotvorur ehf, Noron ehf, Solhofn ehf, Ishofn ehf and Eignarhaldsfelagid Dagar ehf.
