Profile Summary
Great Southern Copper PLC is a United Kingdom-based copper-gold exploration company. The Company is focused on the exploration of copper, gold and lithium in Chile. Its segments include Exploration-Chile and Corporate-United Kingdom. The Company's projects include Especularita Project, San Lorenzo Project, and Monti Lithium Project. The Especularita project is located approximately 250 kilometers (km) north of the capital, Santiago and within the coastal metallogenic belt, and comprises approximately 16,747 hectares (ha) of exploitation and exploration concessions both granted and in the process of being granted. The San Lorenzo project is located 50 km northeast of the coastal city of La Serena, comprises 28,645 ha of exploitation and exploration concessions both granted and in the process of being granted. The Monti-Lithium project is located in the Salar de Atacama, Chile’s premium lithium-producing region.
