TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Information disclosed in accordance with UK Listing Rule 9.6.6

 

The Global Smaller Companies Trust plc (the 'Company') announces that today it
has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 2.5 pence each on
the London Stock Exchange through Stifel Nicolaus Europe Limited, to be held
in treasury.

 

 Date of purchase:                     24 April 2025
 Number of ordinary shares purchased:  250,000
 Lowest price per share:               146.70p
 Highest price per share:              147.37p
 Weighted average price paid:          146.75p

 

Following the above transaction, the Company holds 172,590,341 of its ordinary
shares in treasury and has 447,943,429 ordinary shares in issue (excluding
treasury shares).

 

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is now
447,943,429.  This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the
Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
