Investment in Healthcare Division by Inflexion

 

Investment agreement with Inflexion for a minority stake in GlobalData's
Healthcare division

 

Further to the announcement made on 21 December 2023 regarding the proposed
investment by Inflexion Private Equity Partners LLP into GlobalData's
Healthcare division, the Company is pleased to announce that all the
regulatory and other conditions have now been satisfied and that completion of
the investment will take place on 28 June 2024.  On completion, the Company
will receive net cash proceeds of approximately £434 million.

 

Mike Danson, CEO of GlobalData, commented: "This investment in our Healthcare
division represents a compelling crystallisation of the significant value that
has been created for our shareholders through the delivery of our growth
strategy. We are delighted to be partnering with Inflexion to take our
Healthcare division into its next phase of growth.

Transformation Plan, as we invest in products and AI and leverage the proceeds
from this transaction to accelerate growth investment and targeted M&A
