EVRAZ plc is a United Kingdom-based holding company, which owns steel, mining and trading companies. The Company, together with its subsidiaries, is involved in the production and distribution of steel and related products and coal and iron ore mining. In addition, the Company produces vanadium products. The Company is a steel producer globally. The Company operates through four segments: Steel, Steel, North America, Coal and Other operations. The Steel segment includes production of steel and related products at all mills except for those located in North America. It also includes extraction of vanadium ore and production of vanadium products. The Steel, North America segment includes production of steel and related products in the United States and Canada. The Coal segment includes coal mining and enrichment. The Other operations include energy-generating companies, shipping and railway transportation companies.
