Profile Summary
Empyrean Energy plc is an Australia-based oil and gas development company with interests in Australia, Indonesia and the United States. Its projects include the Duyung PSC project, and the Sacramento Basin project. It also owns an option to participate in a conventional oil exploration project (the Wilson River Prospect). The Duyung PSC covers an offshore permit of approximately 1,100 square kilometers in the West Natuna Basin. Its multi-project participating interest is in the Sacramento Basin, California, which includes Riverbend Project (10% working interest) and Eagle Oil Pool Development Project (58.084% working interest). The Riverbend Project is located in Jasper County, Texas, United States. The Eagle Oil Pool Development Projects is located in the prolific San Joaquin Basin onshore, southern California. The Wilson River Prospect is situated close to existing infrastructure in the Cooper Basin in Southwest Queensland, Australia, and adjacent to several producing oil fields.
