Profile Summary
Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited is an India-based non-banking financial company (NBFC - investment and credit company). It is primarily engaged in the business of financing. Its segments include Vehicle Finance, Loan against property, Home Loans and Other Loans. Vehicle Finance segment provides loans to customers against purchase of new/used vehicles, tractors, construction equipments and loans to automobile dealers. Loan against property segment provides loans to customers against immovable property. Home Loans segment includes loans given for acquisition/construction of residential property and loans against the residential/commercial property. Other Loans segment consists of consumer and small enterprise loans, secured business and personal loans and SME loans. It has a license to act as a composite corporate agent for solicitation and procurement of insurance business for life insurers, general insurers and health insurers as specified under IRDAI Regulations.
