Challenger Energy Group PLC is an Atlantic margin-focused energy company, with production, development, appraisal, and exploration assets in the region. Its portfolio of assets is focused on the Atlantic margin. The Company’s primary focus is on its high-impact Uruguay exploration acreage. The Company also has onshore production assets in Trinidad, and legacy exploration assets in The Bahamas. The Company’s primary assets are in Uruguay, where the Company holds two high-impact offshore exploration licenses, totaling approximately 19,000 square kilometers (km2) (gross) and is partnered with Chevron on the AREA-OFF 1 block. Its blocks are AREA OFF-1 and AREA OFF-3. It is the operator of three producing fields, all onshore Trinidad. Across these fields there are approximately 250 wells, of which approximately 60 are in production at any given time. Its assets include Goudron, Inniss-Trinity, and SWP. It is the 100% holder of four conjoined exploration licenses offshore The Bahamas.
