Borealis Exploration Limited is a holding company that operates as a technology development company. The Company invents, patents, develops and acquires various technologies. The Company's technologies include new materials and technologies for applications, such as generation of electrical power, electric motors, and silent, non-polluting cooling and refrigeration systems. The Company’s segments include mining exploration operations and other operating segment. The mining exploration operations segment is conducted on properties in Canada. The only assets utilized in this business segment are the mining and other equipment. All other assets relate to the Company's other operating segment, which is engaged in the business of conducting basic industrial research with the intent to commercialize its technologies. While the technical rights and/or patents are owned by a company registered in Gibraltar, the research activities are primarily carried out outside Gibraltar.
