Successful Closure of AET 1 Capital Transaction
bank muscat has successfully closed an Additional Equity Tier (AET) 1 Capital transaction amounting to RO 130million on a private placement basis. This will increase the capital adequacy ratio of the Bank by approximately1.4%.This transaction will help the Bank to leverage various capital instruments and enhance the capital base for supporting business growth and improving return on equity. The Bank is issuing this type of AET 1 Capital instrument for the first time.
