Profile Summary
Astroscale Holdings Inc is a Japan-based company engaged in research and development of technologies related to on-orbit services such as debris removal, and in-space demonstrations. The Company provides four services, including end-of-life (EOL) service, active debris removal (ADR) service, life extension (LEX) service, and in-situ space situational awareness (ISSA) service. EOL service is a removal service to prevent satellites that have finished operating from becoming debris. ADR service is a service to remove existing debris by launching a servicer of the Company's group, capturing the existing debris, descending its orbit, and burning it in the atmosphere. LEX service is a service to extend the operational period of a satellite or to transfer it to another orbit. ISSA service launches observation satellites, safely approaches objects at close range, and acquires data on the target object, which can be used to analyze the cause of failures and to understand the target object.
