Update on Ntorya to Madimba Pipeline

Aminex, the oil and gas exploration and development company focused on
Tanzania, is pleased to announce that during a recent operations meeting in
Muscat, Oman with ARA Petroleum Tanzania (APT) and Aminex, the Tanzania
Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) updated the joint venture partners on
its progress to construct a pipeline spur from Ntorya to the Madimba gas
processing plant (the Pipeline). The TPDC told Aminex and APT that:

● It has acquired the land required for the Pipeline.

● It has completed all front-end engineering and design works
required for the construction of a 35km pipeline to connect to the TPDC's
existing processing and transmission infrastructure at Madimba.

● It is in the process of completing the necessary Environmental
Impact Study in relation to the construction of the Pipeline.

● It expects to issue a tender for the construction of the Pipeline
in July 2024.

The TPDC is responsible for the Pipeline's construction. At the meeting with
Aminex and ARA, it reiterated its, and the Tanzanian Government's, firm
commitment to achieving first gas as soon as possible, with a deadline of no
later than mid-2025.

Charles Santos, Executive Chairman of Aminex commented:

"We are very appreciative of the TPDC's update on the Pipeline, the
construction of which is a critical milestone in bringing Ntorya gas to the
people of Tanzania. We wish to note the professionalism and commitment of the
TPDC and highlight the importance the Tanzanian Government attaches to
completing the Pipeline as soon as possible. This commitment is rooted in
Ntorya's importance in helping to relieve energy poverty and improve energy
security for the people of Tanzania. Although this construction is outside our
control, we will endeavour to keep shareholders updated as we receive
information from the TPDC as construction proceeds".
