Profile Summary
Alicanto Minerals Limited is an Australia-based mineral exploration company. The Company is pursuing aggressive exploration campaigns in Sweden’s highly regarded mining region of Bergslagen. These include exploring its tenements around the Falun copper-gold and polymetallic skarn project, as well as seeking to identify high-grade silver extensions at the historic Sala silver-zinc-lead deposit. Its projects include the Falun Copper-Gold Project and the Sala Zinc-Silver Project. The Company holds permits covering an area of 312 square kilometers (km2), which includes the historic Falun mine and surrounds. Within these permits, the Company controls over 60 kilometers (km) of the target limestone horizon. The Sala Zinc-Silver Project consists of several exploration permits covering an area of 91km2 prospective for zinc and silver. Sala Zinc-Silver is located 85km from the Falun Project and 50km away from Boliden’s operating Garpenberg mine.
