Air Berlin Plc is a Germany-based airline that is registered in the United Kingdom. The Company is part of the airberlin group, which is is made up of the Austrian airline NIKI Luftfahrt GmbH (NIKI), the Swiss airline Belair Airlines AG (Belair Airlines) and airberlin technik GmbH. The Company carries passengers to approximately 140 destinations worldwide. It owns various types of aircraft, including Boeing 737-700, Boeing 737-800, Q400, Airbus 319, Airbus 320, Airbus 321 and Airbus 220-200. The Company also provides related services, such as booking, seat selection, full flat seats on long-haul flights, a frequent flyer program, menus on long-haul flights and a service to receive various benefits, among others.
