Paul thanks for posting the video. I like Richard Crow, talks a lot of down to earth sense. I do get his weekly emails which are interesting.

Re Dowlais (LON:DWL) there has been some director buying recently.

Thanks - yes apparently there has been substantial Dowlais (LON:DWL) director buying.

Agreed - Rich is one of the most passionate & common-sense based investors I interview.

My concern with Dowlais (LON:DWL) is it made a loss last year and has quite a lot of debt, even if it does make the forecast profits, these have been adjusted downwards recently. This is only from a quick look on Stocko, so maybe I'm missing something? I generally avoid high debt. Not looked at this stock before.

Yes #DWL's debt is something to watch, especially as they also need to contribute to their German (mainly) & UK pension schemes.

That said the Board have just announced a stock buyback, so they don't seem too concerned wrt cashflow.

Thanks Paul. Useful info on TI Fluid Systems (LON:TIFS) and Avon Protection (LON:AVON) for me.

I had been considering TI Fluid Systems (LON:TIFS) good point about the directors not buying at the secondary placing, had not thought about that.

I hold Avon Protection (LON:AVON) already. Had my fingers burnt a few years ago but seems to have turned round now.

Similarly, there's been some big director buying in Dowlais (LON:DWL) over the past 18 months. Plus Rich also seems to like the company after his initial review.

Albeit I currently don't own the stock, as I typically prefer faster growth & higher IPR / gross margin businesses
