Looking at the low margins and balance sheet at Wynnstay (LON:WYN), it makes me think it's really a listed cooperative. I remember a private equity type outfit took a position a few years ago and then eventually sold out, maybe they decided it wasn't a sufficiently commercial operation to do anything with. Might be being unfair. I have a small position for the dividend history mainly.

Many thanks for this video. Some points regarding -

Bloomsbury Publishing (LON:BMY) (I hold).

1) you discussed the impact of Sarah Mass. This is not to be underestimated - there is a very good article here which says "Make no mistake: her impact on publishing is as tectonic as the orgasms being had by her half-human, half-faerie heroines". Enjoy your mystery shopping with those Paul S!!

2) I think book publishing is one of those areas where the relationship between the company and source (in this case the authors) is personal and important. In this case, as you say, the glue holding it together is CEO Nigel Newton. So it is an amber flag that he will be 70 in June next year. He may well want to carry on into his 90s like Buffett but I hope there is some succession planning in place.

3) you didn't mention the academic side. This, and in particular Bloomsbury Digital Resources, has been a main contributor to profit growth, so don't think of this company as just publishing books for the public to buy.

Nice discussion, I completely agree with Mr Scott on compounding. Having a financial goal can seem so intimitating and so far out of reach when you start its almost off-putting, but slowly inch towards it every week/month/year and before you know it things dont seem so far out of reach. As long as most weeks are a tiny step forward with the odd couple of steps back thrown in, then we can let time do the rest.

Find a system that works for you, stay disciplined and repeat. Its simple common sense really. Tho with money and human psychology involved its not easy.

Apologies for my sound quality, I'm away from home at present, and the wifi works fine on everything else, but seemed to struggle on zoom.

Also with Plexus Holdings (LON:POS) on reflection I should have just said "don't know" and moved on, when Paul H asked some more technical questions, so sorry for my rather weak half-answers in that section.
