I apologise but I cant remember who recommended "The art of execution" but I have to admit it was an excellent read, I love audiobooks and have read about 30 over the last 18 months including Rich dad, poor dad, The intelligent investor, The Compound effect, Market wizards, Thinking fast and slow, Principles for dealing with a changing world, 48 laws of power and many more. These have been the ones that stand out the most, and ones that also highlight my interest.
I was hoping people could post their recommendations as it would be greatly appreciated as I am starting to run out of material.
Thanks in advance.
I like Howard Marks, most famous for his private credit plays i think, books 'Mastering the market cycle' and 'The most important thing', which i can recommend.I just bought 'where the money is : value investing in the digital age' today actually as i've been meaning to read it, as a lot of traditional value investors tend to ignore growth stocks. It even got a recommendation from Bill Ackman, who sees himself as the next Buffett i think. He is definitely a value investor though.
I haven't read, but i've listed to interviews with Joel Greenblatt (another famous value investor), who has a couple of books out including 'you can be a stock market genius, (even if you're not too smart)', which i want to read.Apparently the title belies the content of the book, although great for me!!I need to reread some of the ones i've already read, as i think i've forgotten a lot since!
Justin from Vox recommended the 100 baggers book by Christopher Mayer, which was interesting.I think it has been mentioned on here too.
