ADVFN today are telling me that due to changes in the LSE's terms they can no longer offer free limited real time data with timeouts, so they would like me to pay, or get delayed prices.

However, the LSE website says

"From January 2025 we will no longer charge fees for retail investors to access real-time market data from London Stock Exchange and Turquoise. This means a full waiver on market data monthly end user charges for all customers that qualify as Private Investors1. Retail brokers will be able to provide high-quality, real-time data based on liquid markets to eligible customers free of end user charges."

Am I missing something here? Are LSE telling ADVFN that since they can now provide unrestricted real time data for free they shouldn't be offering restricted access, and ADVFN are saying - no problem we'll just charge for it anyway?
