Welcome to Momentum Monday.

It certainly felt choppier than it was last week, and is a prime example of why I now try to ignore the goings on of the market and follow the directions of the lines.While noise might get louder, for now there is little change to sentiment. This doesn't bother me. Of course it would if I was 100% in cash, but I am not. I have an allocation to cash in the case of a rainy day. But despite the noise - it ain't today.

We look at the direction of both the US and ASX markets to gain an understanding of the broader sentiment at the minute. It is important to stress here that I DO NOT use this to time my entry or exit out of stocks. I prefer to use the individual charts of stocks to do that.
