Highlights from my Portfolio:
Alterian (LON:ALN) continues to stay strong into interims next week. Clearly the market expects them to be good. I wait.
Avanti Communications Group Plc (LON:AVN) put out an early RNS to say that the 39th consecutive Ariane 5 launch success for Arianespace took place yesterday evening. Hurrah. The trouble is, there was a problem with the Satellite itself and it was 'lost'. I asked yesterday what could possibly go wrong; today we have the answer! AVN price fell on the news. Carclo (LON:CAR) was the star of the day but I doubt we will wake up to a bid price of 220 vs offer price of 219. Still, it's looking strong for a rise over 200.

Northern Petroleum (LON:NOP) has managed 8% (after costs) in two days. Delightful.
Senior (LON:SNR) has fallen quite a bit this week and is technically now a sell on two out of three of my metrics. Having bought and held most of the way up from 25p, I am happy to wait for all my metrics to say sell.
Solomon Gold (LON:SOLG) - continued upwards in the hope that news of other drills would arrive before the end of the month. That of course is today but that there is often a…
