I wanted to know which metric or indicator is the best momentum indicator.Please see my problem statement below:
I have a group of stocks ....lets say FTSE500 and I want to know the 10 stocks from FTSE500 whose price is currently in momentum on any particular day.
I dont like to use the Momentum Rank because many stocks come up with Momentum Rank of 99 so I cant decide which ones to buy.
Based on your experience which momentum indicator works the best :
a)1 week Relative Strength
b)1 month Relative Strength
c)1 year Relative Strength
d)50 DMA/200 DMA ....the golden cross
e)MACD
